About Ryan Jones

Before I become a software developer, I worked as a full-time musician for 20 years. I was fortunate to have had opportunities to perform at famous venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. In addition, I enjoyed teaching guitar clinics all over the country and in Asia, as well as teaching guitar to students of all ages through private lessons and as adjunct faculty at a collegiate level. I love doing what I am passionate about while also sparking that passion in others. In recent years, my interests have grown leading me toward a career change. Through networking and pursuing different opportunities in the tech space, I discovered that software development and musicianship overlap in many ways, combining creativity with logic to innovate something beneficial to others. I look forward to continuing this journey of being a part of the exciting ways that technology continues to evolve.
