On June 21st, 2019, the museum held the "Teen Takeover: Idea to Influence” event. 15 other interns and I had been planning the event for six months prior, and I learned more on how to fundraise, allocate time, plan ahead, work in effective teams, and acquire necessary resources and reach out to relevant contacts.During the event, I was the volunteer coordinator. I allocated shifts for nearly 80 volunteers and ensured that floor operations between the various activity stations went smoothly.
