Actively collaborated as a part of a team of 8 design engineers of various disciplines to coordinate the design and launch of the Raymond 5300 Orderpicker and Toyota 8BPU Orderpicker series for Amazon.com, Inc. Utilized geometric and mass properties of forklift components to analyze the center of gravity and moment of inertia properties of two-stage mast Orderpickers to aid in stability calculations.

Tasked with bringing 6 prototype components from drafting through initial design, testing, and preliminary release, in addition to performance benchmarking of 3 current products and system analyses of possibly extraneous components. Performed technical analysis and supported writing and production of procedure guides for 3 product lines. Prototyped a version of the Universal Deadman Pedal used on most other Raymond forklifts to be applicable to Orderpicker and Swing Reach trucks to mimic the current pedal motions on each. Designed and performed yield testing on the torsional strength of Orderpicker Control Handles to investigate the nature of failure, determine the ultimate strength in torsion of the handles, and recommend design improvements.

Responsible for construction submittal review and construction meeting coordination, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing plan markups and edits in AutoCAD, HVAC load calculations, loss studies, motor start calculations, circuit fuse coordination studies, and pipe layout and sizing. Developed a Demand Controlled Ventilation calculator for determining design thresholds given the layout and location of spaces requiring ventilation.
