We specialize in helping active adults to get back to CrossFit, running, hiking, and all high level fitness activities so they can live their lives pain free. Coming from managing an insurance based clinic model and being frustrated with not having the time needed to truly help clients solve their problems, I decided to start my own practice. Rather than having limitations in treatment due to insurance restrictions, we focus on solving clients problems with their recovery at the forefront of their plan of care. I recently completed the Orthopaedic residency program at TJC and have passed the Orthopaedic specialty exam. Using the knowledge I have gained during residency and the leadership skills I have cultivated throughout my professional education, I aspire to teach and lead other physical therapists and to provide the highest quality care to my patients. I have begun this journey via joining the teaching faculty for 2022 and will be a teaching assistant for the residency knee evaluation and manual therapy course, as well as lead instructor in a new course series on Blood flow restriction training. In addition to teaching other physical therapists, I am a level 1 APTA certified clinical instructor and have taken 2 full time PT students in the last year.

As the director of a 4 PT, 7 staff clinic, my goal is to keep the Tysons team inspired by each other’s passion and care for their profession and patients. I hope that by allowing each team member to be the best version of themselves, this will allow for the best patient care and leave the biggest impact on our community.

During my final clinical rotation, I became independent working with an outpatient orthopedic population. I worked closely with patients and athletes of all ages, conducted examinations, determined diagnosis, and created intervention plans for patients with simple and complex diagnoses of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. As a student clinician, I advocated for my patients' needs to their families, other healthcare providers, and insurance companies, assuring they received the care they deserve. I also had the privilege to treat many runners, perform running gait analysis on a consistent basis, and provide the local running community with weight lifting education to improve running economy and reduce injury risk.

Pennsylvania had no source for connecting physical therapy students established while I was a DPT student at Drexel. With PA being one of the most densely populated states of PT schools, I thought there was great opportunity to connect them to better the average student experience. I started small by creating a local group called the Philadelphia SPT Assembly with at least one representative from each school in the area. We successfully hosted multiple social, educational, and networking events for PT/PTA students in the area. After a year of success, we expanded this group to include the entire state of PA and rebranded it. It has since turned into an official student special interest group (SSIG) of the PA chapter fo the PPTA, complete with an entire executive committee and representatives from schools across the state.

Supervised club practices throughout campus acting as a liaison between the club sports coordinators and the teams. Was held responsible for risk management checks, organizing events, and acting as a first-responder if necessary. Office duties included clerical work and customer service skills.

After being the vice president of the team for a year I was elected president for the 2015-16 season. Responsibilities included overseeing a team of over 100 members, leading and planning practices and workouts on a daily basis, organizing fundraisers, contacting coaches of opposing teams and coordinating travel plans, as well as delegating duties to other officers. Coached the sprinters and helped lead the Men's team to win the 2016 NIRCA Championship and the Women's team to second place. I also competed as an athlete on the team throughout my 4 years at Penn State.
