I served on the board of directors for a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization assisting the indigenous Ngobe communities of Bocas del Toro, Panama through education and community development.

I led business development and marketing for an enterprise software consultancy with clients in higher education, tech, government, finance, and healthcare sectors.

I founded an adventure travel firm where I planned, marketed, and personally led group travel adventures worldwide. The firm's mission: to provide customized, unique travel experiences for those travelers who seek more meaningful vacations. Trips focused on adventure activities like surfing, hiking, boating, yoga retreats, and scuba diving. Primary destinations were in Latin America, Europe and the Caribbean. Destinations included Argentina, Belize, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, and the US Virgin Islands. In 2012, I pivoted the business model to create Pilots, the "Airbnb for local travel advice" by directly connecting Lonely Planet travel writers with travelers seeking expert advice. That idea was put on hold to launch TransitScreen.

I led the US expansion for a Hungarian-based travel startup. This included strategic partnerships with market leaders in e-commerce, travel booking, digital media, and airlines. PocketGuide turns any smart phone into your own personal tour guide, combining elements of social networking, GPS navigation and travel destination content. PocketGuide was named by TechCrunch as one of Europe’s top 3 tech startups. PocketGuide raised Series A investment in 2011 and offers professional GPS-guided tours in 85 destinations worldwide.

I scouted and trained Dominican baseball prospects from all corners of the Dominican Republic to tryout for professional contracts with Major League Baseball teams.
