While in college I became certified as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association – NSCA. I was very interested in sports medicine, so I started my health and fitness career as the Director of Advanced Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. It was a ground floor opportunity. Leading a team of 15 sales associates within two years the business grew to over $625K in revenue and 15 corporate accounts mainly from just making cold calls.I was soon offered an opportunity with Direct Fitness Solutions as the Midwest Regional and National Account Sales Rep. Having the responsibility for much larger markets was the right move. I was able to expand and grow my responsibilities and learn about managing national sales from corporate headquarters. I oversaw sales for 1,000 fitness products in 13 states. By focusing on service, delivery, maintenance and implementing state-of-the-art sales protocols, I established over 225 new accounts, including 12 hospitals, generating over $9M in total revenues and achieving 188% of sales quota.Scratching the itch to continue to be an entrepreneur I left Direct Fitness Solutions and created this conglomerate (health/fitness consulting, direct sales, entrepreneurship, coaching and leadership).
