The constant theme in my career and the media industry is that nothing stays the same for long. Most of the accomplishments I'm proud of are predicated on staying ahead of what's next on the internet, riding the monster trends in mobile, social, subscriptions and whatever comes next. I'm a seasoned editorial leader, product strategist, and growth expert. From my early days as a comment moderator to building out a large audience development team, I've had a up close and hands-on journey working to build the future of news uniting experts across product, engineering, marketing, and analytics. Cross-functional work is fundamental to those of us in Audience. After 11 years at The Washington Post, I made the jump to Axios in 2021. I've been focused on growing web, app and distributed channels both nationally and for Axios Local, in 30 cities across the country. I am always thinking about how high quality journalism and rapid digital progress go together in growing digital readership, revenue, and subscriptions.
