About Ryan Ketchum

Having nearly 18 years of experience working on a wide variety of projects. I am acquiring multifamily commercial property through a syndication. This allows My consulting experience has involved Public Works and Heavy-Civil construction comprised of land development, utility relocations, large earth moving operations, mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls, bridge demolition and construction, roadway lighting, AC and PCC roadway improvements and many other activities associated with heavy civil projects. I am well versed in the requirements for the CALTRANS Local Assistance: State Transportation Improvement Program. I have been involved with constructability reviews and with projects from design to project closeout. My practical experience in troubleshooting and insight into the construction process is an asset to any contract or construction team. I bring a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. When there are construction conflicts, I work diligently to minimize any potential delay without sacrificing quality. In this environment, accurate written and oral communication skills are a must between the client, general contractor, subcontractors, local businesses and the public. I have an optimistic approach to each challenge and enjoy taking on the responsibilities of a leader so that my past experiences can be passed on to others making the team stronger. I am currently working on my Qualified SWPPP Developer Certification.

    Edison Mission Energy (EME) bought the emission producing components of AES Huntington Beach Units 3 & 4. In order for the Walnut Creek Energy Park power plant to come online, EME had to retire EMHB 3 & 4. Oversight of decommissioning activities included severing the main fuel supply lines to each unit and fill with concrete, remove hopper sections, sever header supply lines, remove burners and all fuel nozzles from each unit, gouge the main steam and reheat lines and pierce pipes’ horizontal runs, remove the combustion control cards, flame scanner panels, and CEMS control panels, and remove boiler feedwater pumps.I also represented the client at decommissioning/planning meetings in the field with SCAQMD and AES.
