I successfully lead the $29 million business transformation program to modernize processes in finance, human capital management, supply chain management, and enterprise asset management using SAP S4/HANA, SuccessFactors and WorkForce Software. Responsible for leading the implementation team and corporate project management office (PMO) for this business transformation program.We delivered the first wave of the business transformation on time and under budget. The scope of our first wave included all finance processes (except tax and utility billing), time & payroll for 12 collective bargaining agreements, supply chain management, and enterprise asset management.

CanniMed and Prairie Plant Systems (PPS) had Canadian and US facilities dedicated to manufacturing pharmaceuticals derived from plants grown in biosecure production facilities. CanniMed Ltd., a PPS subsidiary, is Health Canada's first licensed medical cannabis producer and has been acquired by Aurora Cannabis.Given the exciting responsibility to create an information technology & digital communication department for two rapidly growing companies. Responsible for operational & capital budgets of approximately $1.4M with a team of 9 staff and consultants. Developed solutions focused on scalability and flexibility due to our rapidly changing industry regulations. Implemented the first Canadian medical cannabis e-commerce solution (Shopify) integrated with an Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) application for the highly regulated and complex inventory, sales, quality assurance, and shipping management processes of Cannabis products. I was a member of the senior management team, intially reporting to the CEO and then the VP, Regulatory Affairs. My team was tightly integrated with sales, marketing, customer service, operations, finance, and regulatory compliance. Developed IT controls, audit procedures, and reporting requirements for a successful Initial Public Offering (TSE: CMED). Developed multi-year plans with a portfolio intake & technology road map to align resources with the strategic business plan.

CSC (now DXC.Technology) was a leading global consulting and systems integration company focused on the advanced use of technology.I joined CSC & BHP Billiton to gain experience in an outsourced IT services model within the private sector. Responsible for technical architecture, solution design, and IT projects within a large global mining company. Remotely managed and led worldwide technology experts to provide technology solutions for BHP. I provided strategic direction and service improvements as a senior member of the CSC account team. Delivered pre-sales technical consultation and customer presentations through technology road maps and enterprise bids. This was a short-term position because BHP decided to transition from outsourced IT services to an internal team. I was extended opportunities to continue with BHP and CSC but decided to pursue experience within a pre-IPO company (CanniMed).
