I led a team of product marketers in driving business growth for the Revenue Cycle Solutions and Performance Management Solutions of our Health Information Systems Division.

I led the marketing of 3M Health Information Systems' Consulting and Advisory Services business. I developed and executed marketing plans from thought leadership to sales enablement.

I joined 3M's Health Information Systems Division to support a new product launch team. Entering the highly competitive healthcare analytics space I conducted qualitative and quantitative market research to guide product development and positioning. Developed and executed an integrated marketing plan including thought leadership development, in-person events and broad digital execution. Conducted competitive intel and developed sales support material and led strategic pricing.

As an internal consultant, I spent 18 months carrying out a wide variety of high impact marketing and strategy projects. I carried 2-3 projects at any given time across multiple business. I gained valuable experience working at the center of a highly complex, international company. Projects included market assessment and analysis, competitive intelligence, customer insights, customer journey mapping and new product introduction, among others.

Provided internal consulting to ESPE (dental) and Drug Delivery Systems divisions within 3M Health Care. Developed marketing strategies for growth in an expanding segment in dentistry. Presented strategies for defending against threats of generic competition in the U.S. pharmaceuticals market.

Led a team of four in conducting primary and secondary research to obtain and analyze voice of customer data regarding the USS Midway Museum. Provided recommendations for marketing strategy and marketing communication efforts.

Managed the orthopedic bracing, crutch substitute and electrotherapy divisions of OrthoPros of Utah, a medical device distributorship. Led prophylactic bracing marketing campaign. Personally assisted patients in selecting the best medical equipment for their condition. Fit patients with equipment such as knee braces, back braces, knee scooters and electrotherapy units and trained them on proper use. Processed the necessary paperwork for proper billing of equipment.- The highlights of my job were the diversity of interactions that I enjoyed and seeing the benefit of quality medical devices. I had the opportunity to work with medical professionals, from doctors and PAs to MAs and medical record specialists. I worked independently and in a team setting. Working with patients from varying backgrounds was a great opportunity. I loved seeing the immediate improvements that our equipment provided to the quality of our patients' lives. I was also intrigued by the fact that so many great products exist while so few people (including doctors) know about them. This has motivated me to explore the marketing of quality medical devices on a greater scale.

Developed and implemented a new personnel training program. Directed the training and coordinated the work of all new hires and volunteers in order to maximize efficiency and consistency in techniques and methods of treatment. Led weekly office training meetings as well as specialized training to advanced aides to increase the skill level of all employees. Performed therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound and massage therapy. Taught and assisted patients with rehabilitative exercises. Maintained stock of all office and clinical supplies.
