Customer Support - Plan and deliver customer support pertaining to desktop hardware, software, and network issues - Support applications running on the Windows platform accessing Unix servers - Maintain hardware and software to ensure availability and functionality of the systems - Work as the second level local contact for a national helpdesk - Resolve issues of or relating to server installations and/or configurationsNetwork Administration - Administer and maintain a Unix Network of 350+ computers, 400+ employees at seven sites - Install, configure, and upgrade software applications on IBM PSeries Unix/AIX servers - Monitor resources to ensure optimal server functionality - Uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Oracle, file, Web and print servers - Create user accounts, manage network space, and perform other various system maintenance tasks
