Ryan is an experienced urban planning, economic development, and housing professional interested in building and improving the cities we call home. At Pennrose, a leading national developer of mixed-use, mixed-income, multi-family housing, Ryan handles business development, due diligence, and project management for the New England region, contributing to all aspects of the development process from design and planning through construction and stabilization.Prior to joining Pennrose, Ryan was Senior Urban Planner at RKG Associates, an economic and real estate planning consultancy. Having spent four years as an analyst at Procter & Gamble in Boston, Ryan couples a finance and business-rooted background with a passion for projects aimed at smart growth and responsible, catalytic urbanism. Ryan earned his Master of City Planning degree at MIT, where his research focused on urban economic development and socially-responsible real estate. A native of Cincinnati, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance & Marketing at Boston College.
