As the Improve I-70 West Deputy Project Director, I assist in the procurement and administration of projects within the west portion of the Improve I-70 Program. These projects range from Design-Build to Design-Bid-Build projects. My duties include assisting the Improve I-70 West Project Director with developing an internal project team, supervising preparation of program documentation; providing technical expertise and design/constructability input; and resolving ongoing program issues. I assist in the responsibility for the overall success of the Improve I-70 West projects and supervise staff assigned to the MoDOT project team along with any owner engineer consultant activities.

Oversee the Kansas City District's Materials Department to ensure the quality of materials utilized in the construction program. Assist with the coordination and supervision of construction and materials activities, provides technical support and makes operational and administrative decisions related to construction and materials in the Kansas City District.
