I am a third-year business student, aspiring to have a meaningful impact in the business world after graduating. My desire to gain work experience while attending business school brought me to Wilfrid Laurier University with their renowned co-op program. I have been accepted into the co-op program and my first co-op placement is anticipated in the Fall of 2023.The most valuable lesson I have learned from Laurier so far is how to team for success and apply critical thinking to real-world challenges existing in business and society today. I took part in a National Case Competition with very limited business experience and had the benefit of upper year student insights that I was able to apply immediately to my business courses.Personally, I come from a sports-oriented family and I enjoy playing hockey, tennis, golf, baseball, and skiing. As a fan, I follow many sports. My favourite teams include the Leafs, Jays, Raptors, and Bills.In my community, I am a proud advocate of Type 1 Diabetics and have fundraised over $10,000 for JDRF Canada - a global type 1 diabetes research organization.
