Boric Acid Corrosion Control (BACC) Program Owner - Aligned organizational support to assist in timely identification of boric acid leakage at valves, pumps, motors, piping, and other components in the facility in order to preclude wastage of components important to plant and public safety due to effects of boric acid corrosion. - Lead a diverse team comprised of full-time and intern student inspectors from multiple disciplines and multiple nuclear plants to safely complete approximately 500 inspections on tight refueling outage schedule, within radiological goals, within budget, and absent personnel contamination, dose alarms, or component misposition events. - Rehabilitated a lagging NAYGN (North American Young Generation in Nuclear) organization by lobbying on behalf of nuclear industry at Capitol Hill, participating in community outreach events such as Teach the Teacher and site tours for over 20 local and regional officials. - Recognized by INPO (the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations) BACC (Boric Acid Corrosion Control) Program assessment lead for best-in-industry Collective Consequence Review regarding instrumentation indications of borated water leakage inside the Containment Vessel and presented methods at an industry peer group meeting. - Pioneered innovative use of custom remote inspection tools to inspect VHRAs (Very High Radiation Areas) 75% under dose estimates, leading to conclusive determination of issue and subsequent evaluation and repair of long-standing issues. - Assessed performance at industry peer nuclear sites and hosted an industry assessment organization, INPO, and an industry regulatory agency, the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission), with zero deficiencies noted within the BACC Program. - Actively sought out continued personal development via leadership seminars, pursuance of uncomfortable roles, PI (Predictive Index) personal assessment, and FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) preparation course

- Worked on projects in the Assurance of Quality (AOQ) lab and provided analysis on new bottle design samplings for glass container properties: Surface Treatment Analysis, Glasswall Thickness, Dimensional Analysis, Strength and Durability Testing, Lubricity, X-Ray Spectrometry, Fracture Analysis, Stone and Cord Identification. - Lead quality engineer on new bottle design samplings in various plant facilities in Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and Virginia. - Conducted GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Procedural, and ISO audits in Streator, Illinois facility with experienced corporate quality engineers. - Performed audit of packed ware at independent warehouse and customer facility to ensure all quality requirements were met. - Inspected pallets for mold issues and made decisions to clear or hold ware at Owens-Illinois warehouse.
