My team delivers Data Management and Governance uplift to BMO Businesses and Service with AI capabilities and by leveraging toolsets like the Informatica Data Governance Suite and BigID to bring self-service metadata management, data classification, governance, and data quality to our partners.Our success has been driven through the use of the 'player-coach' model. Think of our capabilities (ex. Informatica) as a playing field and the challenges our partners face as the ball. We go out onto the field with our partners and kick the ball up and down the field, ultimately resulting in a goal. When we are done my partners know how to play to game (enabling self-service), have a tangible outcome (we taught them to play the game with their problem), and my team gets to return to the sidelines ready to return to the field when needed.We have changed the way people experience data management and data governance at BMO.

I work across the BNYM enterprise to fix business and data challenges that stand in the way of operating at our best. Data Intelligence Group starts by understanding business process, assessing where gaps might exist, and bring data capabilities we have created (data catalog - EDC, controls/quality - IDQ, automation, etc.) to drive business maturity, bring efficiency, and improve operational risk.

Led US lines of business to meet and comply with key regulatory needs by providing a complete data governance operating model that includes data controls, quality remediation, and analytics.

Collaborate with the firm’s lines of business to create a target-state operating model for the Global Client Reference Data Operations function, partnering with stakeholders across geographic regions to align firm-wide customer terminology and data quality while supporting ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) mandates.
