This reduced the admin required for engineers, increased client visibility of project status, allowed for in depth reporting both internally and externally and vast improvements in the tracking and forecasting of project budgets. Project managed and provided additional technical expertise for an expansion of a key clients HQ LAN following the acquisition of an additional floor. This included full project management, LAN design, comms room design, wireless design, on-site deployment, comms room relocation, documentation and handover. The technology used on this project included 2 fully populated Cisco WS-C4510R+E series switches, 20 3702i access points, APC power and cabinets and Netbotz room monitoring. Project managed a successful datacenter selection, migration and network redesign. This included taking a shortlist of 40 datacenters and identifying the best facility for our client. A full DC network redesign was completed, including WAN and LAN design, security design, implementation and physical hardware migration. The technologies included Cisco Nexus 9K switches, F5, Cisco ASA firewalls, OpenGear, Watchguard firewalls and Netbotz. This project ran over a period of 9months and was delivered on time, on budget and downtime was kept within the agreed tolerance.  Atech Support employee of the year 2016.

Key Achievements: Founded the projects team, creating all processes.  Designed and implemented the Atech project lifecycle based on the Prince2 methodology. Guided the projects department from inception to become the highest profit generating department in the company. Undertook a project for an UK based client setting up new branch office setup in San Jose, USA. This included full project management, WAN and LAN design, on-site deployment, documentation and handover. This was a very successful project that helped to secure a service contract for ongoing support.  Project managed and provided additional technical expertise for a large network deployment for a large Investments firm within their new offices (approx. 500 users over 2 floors) This was a full HQ network redesign, including WAN and LAN design, Security, wireless, comms rooms design for the 4 comms rooms and comms room monitoring.
