Job Duties Included: Maintaining a consistent bid flow of $5 million to $10 million per month; Managing all front line and field operations from pre-conception to project completion, including: take-offs, estimation, follow-up, contracts, project scheduling, filed correspondence, management, and completion of punch lists; Managed approx. $26 million in active projects in 2006; Acquired new client relationships while maintaining established clientele; Maintained constant project inflow for 50+ field crew employees; Managed office staff that included: administrative assistants, take-off technicians, Jr. estimators, and a utilities estimators; Obtained subcontract pricing and coordinated subcontractor scheduling and documentation, insurance approval, and project conformance; Maintained a balance of 50% commercial and 50% residential project work for compliance with insurance regulations and rates; Completed all project progress billing and budgeting; Tracked cost reports and current budget reports; Implemented safety programs and employee motivational programs offering bonuses and incentives based on work performance; Completed employee hiring, firing, and training of all personnel, while applying strategic placement of talented individuals to ensure a more profitable company alignment; Accountable for 150% growth in project income and cash flow in the year 2006 by implementing new sales, marketing, and client service standards; Designed and initiated a new aggressive sales system to improve client communication, estimate turnaround time, and generate new leads from untapped local sources; Streamlined existing and new work flow procedures in order to maximize profitability in all areas from in field production, to accounting, to project execution; Developed and enforced high standards for accuracy of cost accounting, and the organization of job cost records to build highly accurate project cost data.
