Design of mechanical systems for highly complex S&T facilities, including biological containment, chemistry, advanced physics, vivarium, process, clean room, and datacenters.Responsibilities included preparation of construction documents, engineering field support for construction projects, oversight of more junior staff and sub-consultants, development and presentation of internal educational programs, interface with Owners and contractors during project design and construction, analysis and troubleshooting of existing systems, energy modeling, preparation of building systems improvement studies, coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams on complex utility infrastructure projects, and delivery of client presentations.

Developed a software analysis tool aimed at supporting further research by the University. Responsibilities included gathering and organizing statistical data, researching mathematical models for microbial persistence, developing the algorithms for and implementing the mathematical models into the analysis tool, and performing dry runs of statistical tests on the mathematical models for various data. Additionally, made recommendations regarding the legitimacy of the mathematical models based on the results of statistical analysis.
