I started my career as a landscape architect - I love the creative design process and thrive on attending to the details. I also like to envision new possibilities, thinking about what could be. I find great pleasure in making beautiful things! Although I no longer practice professionally, I have found many important and helpful linkages between my past and current work. I love working with people. For the past 15 years, I have dedicated my life to building intentional communities, mentoring individuals and small groups, and planning and implementing justice education. I've had the privilege of doing this work with small young adult communities, Catholic parishes, diocesan committees and working groups, peacemaking circles, and antiracism organizations. I believe that we are all called to community, and that our collective liberation is bound in our working together (to borrow a quote derived from the work of Lilla Watson and other Aboriginal activists).I endeavor to be someone who raises the spirits of others and truly listens. I value the importance of doing work with integrity and strive for excellence in all that I do. I work each day to be an advocate for justice and to remain in solidarity with others who are committed to building a more just and equitable world.
