My first priority when joining Tundra was to understand how a mission statement and a set of core values could have such a huge impact on a company culture.Our mission was, "We take care of our customers, so they can take care of theirs." Simple in nature, harder to execute. With our list of 13 core values, we lived our days doing that and empowered every team member to do so.Over the next 10 years we experienced industry leading growth and had the opportunity to service our customers globally. We won numerous industry awards and were featured as one of America's fastest growing companies by Inc. Magazine each year from 2007-2012.The most rewarding experience was working with an incredible team that were all there to help build the best possible customer and employee experience. Our first and last core value was to "have fun". The other 11 were a bit more "serious" but we rarely sacrificed the other two.In 2010 , private equity firm, Pfingsten Partners made a strategic acquisition and then later that year we were acquired by KRG Capital Partners.
