I am no stranger to adaptation. I get the greatest satisfaction in knowing that my accomplishments have a direct impact on an organization. During my time in the Military, I have been a part of two premiere units that were being built from the ground up. I have worked in adverse environments, designed SOPs that are still in practice, and helped foster and shape the culture; making it a place the people wanted to be and contribute. My drive and passion come from my family. It was obvious that I could not settle for easy or routine, my family deserved more from me, even when I wasn’t sure that I had more to give, I could reach within and find the drive to move ahead. This taught me how to work outside of my comfort zone, which strangely enough, is a place I enjoy being. I love a challenge! More so than anything, I love interacting with people. Communicating is not only so very important, but that is where so much development comes from. Learning from mistakes, adapting to changes, and being someone that other people not only can tolerate but want to be around. Working with Army Special Forces and establishing the very 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade of Army advisors has been some of the most fun, challenging, thought-provoking, and detail-oriented things I have done in my life. With the confidence and abilities that I have gained from my experiences in the Service, I am ready for the next challenge in my life. For me, success is not determined by what you have, but rather what you have done to get you to where you are.
