Greater Philadelphia Area

As A Metals Trader, my main responsibility is to purchase various grades and types of scrap metal. I purchase metals into our scrap yard from other scrap companies in the Northeast, which will then be prepared for shipment into a melting facility or overseas. In some cases I am able to purchase the metal and broker the material directly to the mill at a premium for our customer. In addition, I am also part of a team that makes sales for our scrap yard to varying mills that melt the material down into reusable metal.Northeast Metal Traders, Inc. Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Developed and currently maintain a book of business that includes:*Purchasing “mixed” truckloads consisting of various metals from scrap yards in the Southwest and bring into Gold Metal for processing/packing.*Procurement of scrap from industrial accounts that generate metal through the manufacturing process or demolition of products/buildings.*Brokering loads of material from various suppliers direct to aluminum mills, copper refineries and brass ingot-makers in the U.S. as well as exporting direct to consumers located in Asia and Europe.

Scranton, Pennsylvania Area

New York Yankees Triple-A Affiliate* Managed ticket sales staff which generated $5.54 million of ticketing revenue between two selling seasons through outside, inside and group sales. (Average ticket: $8.00)* Increased quantity of group tickets sold in one season by 11% through setting staff goals and introducing programs such as: Ballpark Birthdays, High School Baseball and Kid’s Night Out.* Set and monitored ticket expense budget of $1.35 million.* Responsible for the training, development and management of Corporate Sales staff (3), Inside Sales staff (2) and Group Sales staff (5) regarding the sale of season tickets, partial plans, hospitality areas and group tickets, as well as provide unsurpassed customer service.* Preparation and execution of game day timeline and initiatives.* Initiated the “Client touch plan” which led to stronger levels of customer service for season, group and hospitality ticket renewals.* Member of management team tasked with creating and implementing business plans for renewals, season tickets, hospitality areas, group tickets, single games tickets and all direct mail pieces (includes ticket mailings & ticket delivery).
