In this position, I oversee all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure, including helpdesk support, asset management, and strategic planning for both short and long-term technology initiatives. My responsibilities extend to maintaining and repairing IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability, as well as deploying network and television services to temporary work camps and office sites throughout the province.Beyond these core responsibilities, I apply my expertise in aerial surveying, operating fixed-wing drones to gather accurate site data. Working closely with surveyors, I establish the necessary DGPS infrastructure to facilitate precise measurements, ultimately supporting more informed decision-making and efficient project planning.

I led the technical design and continue to provide support for the organizations' electronic initiatives such as the “Missing Youth Saskatchewan” system, which is a critical decision making tool now mandated by the province for the reporting of missing youth to police agencies. This system helps empower social service providers across Saskatchewan to streamline their coordination efforts and enhance the safety net available to at-risk youth.Additionally, I provided technical expertise and guidance for the “IAmNot4Sale” mobile application. This app offers victims of human trafficking a direct connection to support services. My role involves technical oversight, ensuring that the integration is seamless and that the platform remains responsive to the needs of its vulnerable user base.Beyond these strategic initiatives, I maintain EGADZ’s on-premises server infrastructure, support their custom CRM platform, and oversee on-site installations for new equipment. Through these combined efforts, I establish a stable, secure IT environment that enables EGADZ to focus on delivering essential guidance, resources, and care to the youth they serve.

In this role, I operated primarily in an IT helpdesk environment, serving as a Level 2 technician. I provided escalation support to Level 1 helpdesk technicians, guiding them through more complex issues, and developed detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency among junior team members. My core responsibilities involved assisting clients in the education and medical sectors, delivering knowledgeable, reliable technical support to maintain critical operations.Beyond my helpdesk duties, I gained hands-on experience traveling to remote sites to complete full-scale IT installations in new office builds. This included configuring all network equipment and devices, as well as collaborating with electricians to determine optimal locations for wireless access points, and proper power infrastructure. In this role, I provided comprehensive desktop support to both onsite and remote users, ensuring reliable system performance and resolving a wide range of technical issues. My responsibilities also included managing on-premises Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL Server environments. By handling installations, configurations, and ongoing maintenance, I maintained a secure and efficient IT infrastructure that supported clients.I oversaw Office 365 setup, migrations, and administration to streamline communication and collaboration for staff and clients. In addition, I implemented virtualization solutions, migrating customers from standalone single-task servers to more flexible, scalable environments using Hyper-V and Starwind SAN. I also guided organizations through the transition from legacy phone systems to VoIP, leveraging Microsoft Lync and later Teams, to improve overall communication capabilities.
