Including leading the project from design to delivery, team empowerment, budget and vendor management. Future proofing the business to ensure that future HTS alignments can happen seamlessly without the need for additional costs or development was a key deliverable achieved.• Improved the baseline from 63% to 92% pre-clearance rate for a customer, delivering on freight velocity with 30% more shipments being delivered on Monday.• Automated AUSFTA declaration processing providing one customer with 40% increase in first time claims and a reduction in post import claims lowering their total costs.• Consultancy on systems and Trade Compliance provided to a major customer for their new global trade platform. Highlight: Designed and developed an automated bonded warehousing solution that an on EDI with our vendor to enable the successful on boarding of a new major account whilst limiting the need for additional resources. I then took the team newly established for import compliance to maturity where they were meeting strict velocity and KPI requirements.

Achievement: Collaborating with DHL Global’ s highest profile accounts to ensure regulatory compliance decisions driven by the clients compliance team was matched with the Australian Compliance framework whilst leading the team responsible for maintain and exceeding the clients strict turnaround times for import compliance and freight velocity.

Achievement: Working closely with my team to design and deliver Free trade reviews, concession applicability and provide daily import compliance advice ensuring duty minimization, along with freight velocity to our SME business base.

Highlight: Customs Broker in Automotive Division responsible for TAFTA & AUSFTA refund projects, tariff concession application and refund projects, tariff advice applications and import compliance for Australian Car Manufactures, Tier I & II Suppliers and International Off-Road and Heavy Vehicle Manufacturers.

Highlight: Specialist experience in FMCG especially related to the import compliance process for, clearance, warehousing, ex-warehousing & excise returns for spirits, wine and beer. I was also responsible for quotation and delivery of duty minimization projects for clients including, tariff reviews, refund opportunities and development of Free Trade Agreement solutions.
