I led my team from $0 to over $63 million in Canadian sales of retail and commercial kitchenware online in my role as Director of E-commerce. I was involved in practically every aspect of the business, and provided end-to-end optimization of the business with focus on website development, SEO, conversion rate optimization, sales processes, marketing and e-mail marketing, and merchandising of products. During my time I was able to achieve 40% growth year over year from 2016 to 2022.Through my efforts the company grew to carry over 150 brands, with over 26,000 products curated, categorized and optimized for top search engine placement in Canada. The SEO strategies I implemented achieved top organic ranking in Canada for almost every brand we sold, generating over $16 million in sales at practically zero cost.Over the years I continually improved the business, implementing a multitude of features that drove additional sales and improved margins such as competitor price monitoring and automatic re-pricing of products to match competitors, protecting baseline margins and raising prices to achieve additional margin where possible. I integrated a suite of software platforms such as Klaviyo, Yotpo, Gorgias and more to provide best-in-class tools to my team to bolster their capability to succeed.I also spearheaded the re-design of the new responsive website in 2021, and directed a web development agency to transform my vision into reality. In the process I successfully migrated from Magento 1.0 to Shopify Plus, and ensured all product data was successfully transferred from the old platform to the new platform without losing any organic rankings, which is often difficult to achieve.

Net Gravity Commerce Inc. partnered with companies that had poor or non-existent Ecommerce websites, and at no cost to the partner would provide Ecommerce consulting services and produce a new website in exchange for a share of the revenue generated every day. We provided website design and development, online marketing, maintenance, and business development services to the partner and were able to generate $6 million in sales online in Canada.

I opened a web design company that produced and hosted approximately 30 websites for small businesses (mostly part-time, as I put myself through University at the same time). Each website was powered by a Content Management System, and I would work with each client to come up with a customized brand, website prototype, produce initial copywriting, and implement marketing strategies to achieve top organic search engine rankings.It was during this time that I also was able to work with my first Ecommerce clients, which lead me to transition to focusing on Ecommerce only as this was not only significantly more exciting to me but also more lucrative, with the relatively new world of Ecommerce blooming.
