Mr. Lund co-heads the Houlihan Lokey Technology & Software Investment Banking team in the US and globally. Since 1999, Mr. Lund has completed more than 120 M&A, public capital markets and private capital transactions for tech and software companies. Most recently, Mr. Lund led the team that advised and financed Blackstone the acquisition of Cvent, co-advised SilverLake on the acquisition of Qualtrics, advised Permira on its investment in Mirakl, advised Kibo/Monetate (a Vista portfolio company) on its sale to Centre Lane, advised M3 on its sale to Blackstone Growth, and advised iLobby on its sale to Insight Partners.During his career, Mr. Lund led the highly complex eBay Enterprise/Magento series of transactions, which collectively were named the 2016 Technology Deal of the Year by M&A Advisor. He also led the $250 million cross-border private placement for Magento (Hillhouse Capital was the sole investor) and co-advised on the sale of Magento to Adobe for approx. $1.7 billion. Other M&A advisory transactions include the acquisition of Ellucian by Blackstone, the sale/take-private of Nitro to Potentia, the acquisition of Mainline Info Systems by HIG Capital, the sale of FlightAware to Ratheon, the acquisition of Shopkeep & Ecwid by Lightspeed, the sale of DaySmart Software to LLR/Parthenon, Celect to Nike, Rave Mobile Safety to TCV, Connectwise to Thoma Bravo, Raptor Tech to JMI Equity, Oildex to DrillingInfo (Genstar), TrustID to Neustar (Golden Gate), FastSpring to Accel-KKR, Booker to Mindbody, BlueTree to ORBCOMM, eBay CRM Assets to Zeta, The Network to NAVEX Global (Vista Equity), Constant Contact to Endurance, SmartTuition to Blackbaud, Contact Solutions to Verint, ShopVisible to Epicor, SchoolMessenger/21st Century & Holly Connects to West, MetaSolv to Oracle, and Finalsite to Spectrum Equity. Mr. Lund also advised on the carve-out acquisition of Magento by Permira, the acquisition of Uptivity by inContact, the capital raise for Coveo (led by QIA), the $75 million capital raise for CallRail (led by Sageview), and the $75 million capital raise for Impact (led by PSG), among others. Mr. Lund also participated in numerous LBO/financing transactions including iSolved, Barracuda, Cvent, Qualtrics, Citrix/CSG, Dodge Construction, MitraTech, Storable, CDK Global, Colibri, RealPage, ECI, PointClickCare, Idera, Rocket Software, Cambium Learning, and Weld North in the last few years.In 2016, The M&A Advisor named Mr. Lund an Emerging Leader based on his M&A track record (formerly known as the "Top 40 Under 40" Dealmakers in the United States).
