Undergraduate and graduate students hail from highly selective "grandes écoles" which comprise the INSEEC network—including INSEEC Business School, ESCE International Business School, ECE Paris Graduate School of Engineering, INSEEC School of Communications (Sup de Pub), and CREA Genève.Over the course of a semester, students create a startup and test its viability in the market by applying an array of analytic techniques central to the Lean Startup method—including customer discovery and validation, market research, competitive analysis, risky assumptions mapping, product-market fit analysis, business model generation, UX/UI design, low- and high-fidelity prototyping, product usability testing, and more.Courses require students to learn rapid prototyping, an essential skill in user-centered product design. Student-led teams use cloud-based prototyping software (Figma) or 3D modeling software (Fusion) to create and build prototypes that they test with real users. At the conclusion of each semester, teams demo their prototypes, business models, and evidence of customer validation in a startup pitch competition.
