Serve as school designer coach for some of the top schools in the country supporting equitable impact through the EL Education school model. Serving as advisor, strategic planning partner, and leadership team coach for schools — including proudly and humbly for Polaris Charter Academy, a credentialed EL school and the only EL school in Chicago for over a decade.

Oversees and supports the strategic vision for 2-3 regions as aligned to EL Education's organizational goals. Each region is comprised of 15-20 partnerships with schools and districts served by a team of EL Education coaches and overseen by a Regional Director. The Senior Director role involves proactive and strategic partnership development with schools and school districts, staff supervision and coaching, portfolio management, day to day team leadership, financial and data oversight of regions. Drives high-quality performance of a portfolio of over 30 schools throughout the Midwest by providing leadership and vision for a growing staff, and coordinating school coaching, program development, school and community relationships, staff development and new program development.

Joined the design team of EPIC in 2008. From the ground up, we created a new small progressive high school in South Chicago designed on what we know works for students and their families. Opened in August of 2009, our school provides a free, open-to-all college-oriented school that prepares all students with the 21st century skill necessary to revolutionize society and ensure a heroic journey of college and career success.As a founding leader, infused the EL model into our design along with the community-based curriculum and culture design. Served as an instructional leader for the team, designing the professional development, coaching teachers on their instruction, guiding the creation of new orginal curriculum. Created original curriculum for grades through 6-8 focusing on project-based humanities curriculum. Piloted Expeditionary Learning curriculum with our student population made up for over 70% English language learners in Oakland's Fruitvale neighborhood. Served on the Leadership Team for three years and served as Humanities Department Chair for 2 years.

Co-directed the leadership development of long-term counselors in training. Coordinated and executed programming for 8- to 16-year-olds in this overnight camp setting. Built crew-like relationships among campers and coordinated and guided backcountry backpacking & canoeing experiences.
