Throughout my time working in The Department of Education I have had the opportunity to work with and maintain a variety of different networks, varying in size and setup.Some of my key responsibilities in this time include:● Systems Administration: Delivering a range of technical support functions including managing the installation and management of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 through to 2016 and planning, creating and deploying Standard Operating Environments using WDS or external devices as required.● Network Administration: Managing all aspects of network administration including Active Directory and Group Policy implementation and managing the installation and support of supplementary server services Internet Information Services, Windows Server Update Services and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).● IT Support: Providing a high level of hardware/software support for all Windows platforms and Mac through to OS 10.14● Customer Service: Promoting a customer-focused service and maintaining a commitment to the timely delivery of IT support services reflective of expectations.● Project Management: Creating clear project schedules, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring that key milestones were achieved within all time, resource and budgetary constraints.● Education: Providing ongoing support and guidance to all stakeholders and developing relationships based upon mutual trust and respect.● Team Leadership: Providing on the encouragement and motivation to the team ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT Services.● Professional Development: Maintaining my knowledge by identifying, and participating in professional development activities. ● Remote server maintenance● Face to face support for staff and students● Configuring Cisco, Xerus and Ubiquti wireless access points.● Configuring Cisco, Ubiquiti and Aruba switches.● Managing one-to-one and BYOD notebook programs● Managing on-site and Office365 Exchange servers
