My first adventure was exploring the world of fitness and rehabilitation science. I was fascinated by how all the systems in the human body worked together to accomplish the overarching goal. Whether the goal was to lift a tremendous amount of weight, run an enormous distance, or be able to move as fast as possible. I was intrigued by it all. This interest led me to receive a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. After receiving this degree, I managed a team of 5 personal trainers, projected monthly sales of the private training department, and continued applying my knowledge of the body to assist in helping people accomplish their physical goals.A client of mine at the time introduced me to the world of programming. We would talk about the vast career opportunities, problems he faced during work, and the curriculum he did at Tech Elevator. Discussing the world of Tech sparked my interest so much that we eventually had to meet outside of his training sessions because I was asking so many questions. Now I am a Tech Elevator graduate myself, eager to explore the endless possibilities of software development. Continuously learning through my side projects, courses I am taking through Udmey, or meeting up with fellow coders to talk about their work.
