Ryan’s first experiences in sales were in part times jobs during high school and university in the 1990’s: a lawn care company, a jewelry store, the home cleaning division of a major department store. After university he moved on to sales and marketing for a multinational chain of laser eye surgery clinics and one of Canada’s largest distribution companies. Then he landed at Parkside Optical Inc, where since 2002 he has been building the LensPen brand into the leading name in high end optical lens cleaning in military, law enforcement, digital imaging, consumer electronics, astronomy and sport optics markets in over 80 countries.During the COVID lock-downs, as international trade shows and face to face networking were put on hold, the world was reminded of how important relationships are. The business world was reminded too.And relationships should be at the heart of business: genuine interest in the customer’s needs, building a mutually beneficial relationship for the long term.
