I previously was a Senior Process Scientist on the Critical Raw Materials team serving as representative on product development projects. Prior to transitioning into industry, my PhD research at The University of Chicago focused on DNA association and dissociation mechanisms, and their underlying energetic driving forces, with the goal of obtaining a better understanding of biomolecular recognition and binding reactions and their role in fundamental biological processes. Prior to The University of Chicago I earned a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics from St. Olaf College.
