Primary research area is Thermal Fluid Systems. Current research focuses on high-energy two-phase solid/gas flow. With my sponsor Dr. Shyam Menon, I am primarily focusing on the effect that high pressures and supersonic speeds have on solid particle flows in air. The goal of the research is to gather data on particle movement and deposition around turbine blades. The research is university funded.

I worked as part of the Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering teams at the Mandeville, LA office. My primary jobs were to manage the editing of the Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams with the drawing team and to compile the specs of equipment and sensors for various projects handled by the teams. I also served as the primary checker for work done by the professional engineers. I also handled much of the communication between the engineering team and the project and construction management teams.
