I worked in public schools for the first year and a half, teaching 20 classes a week, each consisting of 50+ children. Then moved to SCL, a private kindergarten in Suzhou. There I had a class of the same 22 children for 2 years, which allowed me to watch them learn and grow and gave me a huge sense of accomplishment. I also won teacher of the year for 2020.

During my time at AIG I have gained a wealth of experience in customer service which has been recognised by the company and as a result I have been promoted twice by the management team. Finally I was made a claims assessor for the company's corporate clients which involved maintaining excellent relationships and ensuring I provided the very best customer service. One of the highlights of my time at AIG was helping to secure the renewal of a policy belonging to a consortium of around 20 different companies. I also oversaw an account and maintained it well along with the relationship with the broker. The main skills I have developed during my time at AIG include: dealing with complaints in a manner that still left the customer happy with the service provided, forming excellent relationships with clients built on mutual trust, a high level of organisation, ensuring deadlines were met, and maintaining professional and productive working relationships with colleagues.
