Seeing a need to improve the automation process for the reports that support the doctors, built a new process and implemented supporting software to better manage the 250+ automated processes that generate over 1500 reports a month. Focused on implementing a process that was transparent, transferable and secure. Most of these processes are run using SQL and Excel.Understanding that my director could not handle the current hiring process because of the growth that the team needed, and working with a team of three, developed a new hiring process that would reduce the amount of time my director spent with applicants and still brought in candidates that were excellent for the culture and work load. Currently, five of the eight people on the team were hired with the new process.Because of the growth in the team, problems were arising from of the lack of similarity between the analysts, I suggested, and now run, regular meetings where we as analysts discuss the problems and brainstorm solutions. The meetings generate agreement from the analysts because the ideas come from them, and the ideas have progressed the team far beyond what the director could have done from his position. The director now hands off problems and expects that we, as a team, will resolve the issues.

The information I gleaned was passed to Ryder’s executive management, and they implemented many of the suggestions.
