With Cloud49 well-positioned for strategic exit and team in place to manage it, I was able to pursue an opportunity at a nonprofit private school in a new role focused on addressing the rise in suicide among American teenagers. In this role I had the opportunity to build and lead a team that established a training and reporting structure to the faculty and staff providing a first line of awareness for suicidal ideation among the teenage population, established an evidence-based testing methodology to tabulate responses from interviews with at-risk students and suggest tactical action to defend against negative outcomes, and established school-wide Emergency Response guidelines and SOPs for all hazard types.
