I worked at TrueCar because I wanted to help make the experience of buying a car 'less' awful for everyone—a noble pursuit, in my opinion.--------Role: Responsible for voice, tone, clarity and conversion optimization for all car-buying and selling products within the TrueCar experience—desktop, mobile web and native platforms.Design and copywriting for consumer emails, interfaces, onboarding, registration, high funnel marketing collateral and low funnel conversion experiences. Plan and launch A/B tests throughout the registration and onboarding experience. Optimize the messaging throughout to improve net funnel efficiency. Copywriting and development (HTML, CSS and JS) of internal collateral for writing user interfaces, style guides, employee handbooks, "how-to" guides, industry glossaries and content standards. Conduct extensive user experience research, analyze findings, derive insights—and act on those insights—to create a better UX for the car buying public.
