Leading and coordinating the development of four high impact software products for nonprofits based in the Boston area. Our club creates software that helps children with cancer, supports Boston's urban forest, and advocates for students in the Caribbean. In Fall 2021 we will be taking on a new project that aims to impact the lives of 75,000 youth in New York City and beyond.

Technical lead for Lucy's Love Bus programs, an event registration web application for Lucy's Love Bus: a charitable organization dedicated to helping terminally ill children and their families.• Managed a team of eight developers using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies in fast paced one week sprints to deliver a fully featured product in one year. Responsible for the development of c4cneu.com, a website for Code4Community. Led an effort to redesign the site using Material Design. Used React.js and Typescript to develop clean and typesafe components.Currently leading a small team of developers to continue to maintain and add functionality to the site.

Worked on the now deprecated Code4Community website. I was able to help develop a Vue.js frontend and test it using JEST. I was also responsible for creating a Vert.x backend in Java for the website. I used JOOQ and PostgreSQL in order to store content that would be fetched via REST API and displayed on the site.

Acted as a teaching assistant for CS4400 Programming Languages. Graded homework and led office hours multiple hours per week.

• Developed efficient O(n) algorithms in Python to process over 139 million records of financial data, with average speed of 1.2 million records per second.• Reduced run-time of script by 91% using Perl (180s to 15s) through memoization of frequent function calls.• Implemented React.js and Java Spring web app to allow data analysts to interact with financial data lakes.

Tutored students for CS2500 Fundamentals of Computer Science 1. Guided students through programming fundamentals in a subset of Racket. Held office hours at least once a week to interact with and mentor first year computer science students.

Guided SAS students one-on-one through the Catalyst program, encouraging and probing deep critical thinking to help students develop a four month long passion project of their own design. Worked directly with lead teachers to foster innovation, creativity, and meaning within 11 and 12th grade students.

Amplified student agency through our Catalyst program by assisting as Catalyst teaching assistant and presenting to school administrators and K-12 education specialists. The Impact Fellowship delivered keynote at 2018 Apple Innovation Summit at Stamford American School and led workshops at 2019 Apple Innovation Summit at Canadian International School.

Used Unity3D and Blender to create a fully interactive and to-scale virtual architectural model of the redesigned APEx Health & Wellness Center. Utilized SteamVR to create a virtual reality extension of this 3D model to show students, parents, and teachers the future APEx facility.
