As the Project / Product Manager for ACEMCO Power Systems, it was my privilege and responsibility to work with a great team to bring the ACEMCO Power Unit to market. The ACEMCO Power Unit is an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), which serves the purpose of dramatically reducing diesel emissions and fuel costs for Truckers / Fleets (Class 8 tractors). Using an ACEMCO Power Unit, truckers are able to comply with Federal & State Anti-Idling regulations, while still enjoying all the hotel comforts of Heating, Cooling, and 110V Power in their Sleeper Cabs. Responsibilities:- Bringing the product out of the shop and onto the market.- Branding Strategy & Communication- Component Prototyping / Sourcing / Procurement- BOM Development (PowerShop ERP)- Developing Infrastructure and Strategy for Customer Service & Warranty functions- Establishing Regional & National networks for professional, customer-focused Installation and Service channels.- Creating required business processes to support product development / testing, procurement, sales, service, installation, warranty claims.

Performed in the following Capacities: Business Planning, Market Research, and Life Science Research AnalystOverall Contributions- Guided an entrepreneur of a medical equipment start-up through business planning efforts and his pursuit of venture capital. Presented to 350+ VC’s and helped to secure (and advised the decline of) a $1,500,000 VC funding offer.- Synthesized technical research to deliver a study on the anatomical properties and manufacturing technologies capable of replicating bone for surgical training. Resulted in a “green-light” decision for a new R&D / business effort.- Identified a MEMSensor manifold interface to reduce set-up time from 1+ hrs (w/ high error), to < 10min (~ zero error).- Provided market opportunity assessment for new coating capability. Resulting in project investment and job retention.- Explored market potential and consumer insights to develop sales forecast and valuation model for a new tool patent.

Translated client knowledge of General Ledger Allocations into functional design documents. Subsequently wrote / executed system & user acceptance test scripts.- Utilized SQL, HP Quality Center, & PeopleSoft General Ledger to test ETL data processes. - Mapped General Ledger data processes from design documents to write & execute testing scripts.- Coordinated and led daily defect meetings for multiple test & development team leads – creating a central forum for communication and conflict resolution.- Managed daily defect reporting to team & client leads. Responsible for tracking status, dependencies, and ownership.- Volunteer Opportunity: Chicago 2016 Olympic Bid Campaign – Website Testing at OgilvyOne. Responsible for testing the diffusion / consistency of content & features during Chicago 2016 website build. Developed a rapport with OgilvyOne managers & developers.
