Vice President Procurement & Project Services
Current• Recruit, train, and direct the activities of the Procurement & Project Services Team for 1 NBA team, 3 minor league teams and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse• Manage the RFP/RFQ and competitive bid process to ensure that the process is inclusive, competitive and effective• Proven track record of success in leading procurement initiative, resulting in large cost savings and increased operational efficiency• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, conducting market analysis, identifying potential suppliers, and negotiating favorable terms and conditions • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholder• Identify opportunities for Minority/Women/Small Businesses, with a focus on year over year growth• Manage capital expenditures, asset approval and budgeting• Proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to closure, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. • Collaborate regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and address any issues and concerns• Implemented project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes and efficiency• Project Manage high level projects including procurement and expense report system implementation, office buildout and relocation for 300 team members, Human Capital Management implementation Arena name change, COVID-19 event entry process and protocol, and team rebrand• Manage Administrative areas including printing, office supplies, refreshments, mailroom operations, auto leases, auto insurance, company mobile devices, team member relocation, team member travel, and shipments
