Create and curate content for the University of Florida's flagship social media accounts. Day to day includes interacting/engaging with the Gator Nation, spotting opportunities in real time (or planned) to either share content or create it in short form (Photo, video, gifs, etc.) and working with units across campus to elevate their content. One of the many UFsocial ethos we champion is to "Always be playing": have fun and keep discovering new tools to play with. Not only do I share/craft content for the flagship, but I also work very closely with the president of the university, Kent Fuchs and his social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram).

As content strategist, my main goal was to capture the voice of the university and/or unit through content on the web. I served as content strategist for the most recent site redesign for the university's main website. Throughout the website process, I'd be involved with the content from the site audit, information architecture, taxonomy, content flow and review phases, with a major emphasis on user experience. I aimed to be a thought leader on content, evangelizing its importance in web to the campus community. I was also tasked with educating clients on content, with a concentration on managing the site post-launch (editorial calendars, routine link checks, etc,).
