I started out my college career by working as an IT Technician for the K-State College of Business where I helped with day-to-day technical issues and long term projects. Spring semester of my freshman year, I switched over to the College of Agriculture where I was hired as an Accounting Assistant, where I helped assist the Accounting department with daily tasks. After restructuring of student employees due to the pandemic, I took a job in the KSU Agronomy department as a Research Assistant. During my Senior year I had the opportunity to work as an undergraduate research assistant for the college of Agricultural Economics. In that role, I helped conduct a research study on behalf of the Call Hall Dairy Bar to gauge consumer preference and awareness. Post graduation, I started my current position with Mercer-Zimmerman as a professional development associate where I have been rotating through various roles within the company. As part of my rotation, I have had the opportunity to spend time at Structura, a lighting fixture manufacturer local to the Kansas City area.
