Tasked with architecting and implementing a common data warehouse and reporting platform for the entire company – replacing six reporting sites with a single login. The system included pull, push, and provisioning APIs, a flexible data model that individual product teams could tailor to suit their needs, a multidimensional OLAP engine, a markup-based report designer, and a RESTful reporting API that returns results in multiple formats, including graphs, PDFs, and Microsoft Excel documents.

Built Spreesy.com from the ground up, including UI, backend, database architecture, Facebook Connect integration, caching, PDF voucher generation, fraud prevention, and A/B optimization.Provided support to Adknowledge email sales team and customers. Created customer reporting portal (adstation.com) module, complete with XML/JSON API, and took ownership over channel's internal reporting. Migrated backend rollups from Oracle to MySQL and postgres, and improved reporting to near-realtime.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

Ported a popular iPhone app to the Palm Pre, creating the first published WebOS app that allowed for photo uploading.

Developed and applied a successful marketing strategy that included high volume mail-order catalogs, monthly advertisements in major magazines, and subscription e-mail promotions. Managed a department that supported an international sales force with marketing materials, custom product designs and proofs. Oversaw professional photo shoots, copywriting and proofing, brand development, IP protection, and communicated with international vendors to consistently execute the form and design of over 300 unique products.

Fully designed and created harrowsports.com and hockeystick.com, generating over 9 million hits and $2M in e-commerce revenue. Implemented the latest web technologies, including self-written Ajax libraries, real-time inventory, future availability, and delivery time calculations, and automatic product upselling techniques. Developed two Flash/XML customization tools: one allowing teams to design and immediately purchase gear featuring their own logos (rendered in real-time), and another offering visual customization of hockey sticks, competing directly with Nike’s ‘ID’ concept. Created a Content Management System for faster updates of our websites, and designed a field hockey ranking system that included mobile-friendly content for on-the-field score updates.
