Ryan also introduced parametric modeling to Chris King and developed several comprehensive design tools marrying Creo Parametric, MathCAD and Excel. His machining skills allow him to read production G-code to validate design intent and contribute to DFM efforts on the floor as well as machine one-off parts in Prototype for our R&D test fixtures. At Chris King he developed an understanding of special cutting tool designs from the company’s founder and generated parametric modeling tools that have been validated through cutting tool fabrication and component manufacturing. In a first for Chris King, he instrumented professional rider bikes and acquired product performance data on miles of downhill and mountain single-track.
