Provide classroom instruction on aircraft systems, emergency procedures, methods of instruction, flight maneuvers, flight planning, Standard Operating Procedures, Army and local publications, Aviation Resource Training System (ARTS), teaching skills and other aviation related topics. Instructing and evaluating the performance of student instructor pilots in aircraft systems, crew and mission briefings, local and Army rules, regulation and operating procedures, role reversal, methods of instruction, assessing students evaluating abilities, crew coordination, basic and advanced flight maneuvers, instructor pilot recovery techniques, and safety. Completed the UH-60M Aviator Qualification Course and Flight Instructor Course. Performed UH-60M Flight Instructor duties.One year experience teaching UH-60 FSXXI at E CO 1-212 AVN. Responsible for introducing new students to the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter. Duties included instructing students IAW the POI.

Instructed and evaluated rated and non-rated crewmembers in both combat and non-combat environments ensuring the utmost technical and tactical proficiency was maintained by all assigned crewmembers. Planed, briefed, rehearsed and executed dozens of air assaults, aerial resupply, external loads, water bucket operations, and air movement missions over hostile mountainous terrain in day, night and night vision goggle (NVG) conditions. Successfully managed the initial Combat Crew Training of over 80 relief-in-place personnel. Developed a company training plan successfully reintegrating 58 crewmembers into the Continental United States after return from OEF 11-12. High Altitude Mountainous Environmental Training Site (HAMETS) Instructor qualified. One of five instructors who flew over 50 total hours in day and NVG conditions around Fort Carson, CO training and qualifying rated and non-rated crewmembers for an operational deployment to Afghanistan. High Altitude Aviation Training Site (HAATS) Qualified UH-60 Instructor Pilot. Flew 1700 combat flight hours during 2 deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF 06-08, 09-10) and 1 deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF 11-12).
