My National Guard unit trained soldiers for maintenance and armorer positions within the Army. I primarily assisted instructors and students with any IT issues. Additionally, I was our unit's network, SharePoint, and iPad administrator.

While enrolled at Illinois State University, I was a research assistant for the Chicago Teacher Education Pipeline (CTEP). The CTEP is a program that falls within the College of Education and focuses on preparing pre-service teachers to effectively teach and reside within urban communities. My role in this position was to help Brent Showalter, the Senior Research Fellow of Assessment and Evaluation. While enrolled at Illinois State University, I was a teaching assistant for Dr. Matthew Hesson-McInnis.
