From a young age, I loved taking apart old computers with broken parts. I would try to put together a working computer from all the parts I could salvage. It was like a game to me, assembling the pieces without knowing the purpose of each one. I still remember how I felt when I saw that monitor light up after getting a computer to finally work. I think from that point on, I knew that computers and technology would be my passion.Fast forward to my studies at Acadia University, where I pursued a degree in Computer Science. In my second year, I took a basic web development course. I found it amazing to discover the ability to create my very own unique website, designed any way I wanted by editing a single file. Throughout my education, I worked on various projects, expanding my knowledge of programming and web technologies. I also enrolled in the Co-operative Education program, spending my summers as a junior software developer.Today, I am a full-time Software Developer at Reach Student Life Management. My experience includes full-stack web development with TypeScript/JavaScript, Google Cloud Platform, React, Node.js, Express.js, jQuery, Bootstrap, MySQL, and Git/GitHub. I am passionate about learning and challenging myself to solve unique problems. Whenever I face challenges, I remember the determination I had as a child and know that I can find a solution!
