Responsible for netops cost management (including MMs in infra cost savings), evaluating and mitigating technical risk to project timelines, technical mentorship, and managing technical staff.

Tech Lead for performance and feature engineering pods on Farmville. Directly responsible for metrics-driven optimization of load time, client frame rate, and in-game interactions. Solutions included novel applications of asset caching (later adopted widely at Zynga for web-based games), patch versioning, and spatial data structures to enable innovative game mechanics.

Created JamLegend.com, a destination for music rhythm gaming and discovery with over 2M users. JamLegend featured partnerships with major music labels, supported self-published albums by independent artists, and unlocked your entire iTunes library for gaming. Key roles in product concept, design, and development, as well as business strategy, hiring, and management.Acquired by Zynga in 2011.

Created three political technology products: FantasyCongress.com (fantasy sports meets civics education), Politico's Kingmaker (2008 election predictions game, in partnership with Politico.com), and PoliQuiz (embedded political polling widget, in partnership with the SunlightFoundation.org). Responsible for development, design, testing, technical ops and business strategy.
