Senior Financial Manager for INVISTA’s TX locations supervising a team of three employees. Key priorities have been strengthening the economic decision-making capability of the leadership at the site, providing key challenge and analysis of decisions and periodic financial reporting. Functioned as a Strategic Partner to the Plant Manager to advance the culture of economic thinking to improve financial results, accelerate decision making and provide decision making support. During my tenure as Site Finance Leader the team has moved from Excel based reporting to automated reporting including real time cost reporting in several key areas.

• As the Global Track manager for INVISTA I lead the Track team (Myself and 3 Direct Reports) in the effective management of Track software across all US sites. This includes onboarding new vendors, training new users and ensuring the accuracy of the contractual parameters entered in the program• Coordinate with sites for upcoming projects, turnarounds and maintenance events; procurement on providing the most current contractual parameters; vendors in on-boarding in Track timely and following up to ensure their compliance with Track expectations and connect with Site Finance leaders to answer questions and develop useful metrics and reporting.Developed an overall vision for the Track team, focusing on customer service and demonstrating through proper training and support the value the tool can provide INVISTA. This has led to an increase in the number of new users in Track and a greater of acceptance and willingness to use Track by site leadership as well as project and maintenance managers• Complete the monthly tax provision for INVISTA S.a r.l. as well as several other INVISTA holding companies. Use the Tax provision tool (TXPR) to calculate the current and deferred impact of current operations as well as other unusual tax transactions that contributed to the balances. Book the closing tax journal entries each month, ensuring that the financial data matched the tax provision tool prior to close each month.Assisted the KCS Tax Compliance team with the preparation and gathering data for the 2013 and 2014 Income tax returns for INVISTA. This includes gathering a large amount of data and completing the tax reporting template, as well as preparing and reviewing the state apportionment data. This required working with various organizations within accounting, tax compliance and HR as well as the businesses to ensure that the data collected is accurate and complete.
